Overview


Time to evolve

Butterfly Systems provides online hospital management software and services for public and private hospitals and day clinics. It uses a “software as a service” (SaaS) business model, where software is hosted at data centres in the cloud in Australia.

This allows the provision of services across large fragmented hospital departments, surgeons’ rooms, materials supply, health funds and other related entities. Butterfly Systems will be releasing new features regularly. Additions and extensions to functionality are developed in response to the needs of hospitals in Australia and international markets.

What we do


A smarter way to work

Butterfly Systems has been developed using Microsoft’s .NET development environment over a multi-tenanted SQL server 2012 database and iOS7/iOS8. Our production servers are hosted by Amazon Web Services, a tier-one hosting provider, which monitors our servers and firewalls 24/7/365 at guarded facilities.

We have made a significant investment in this global hosting platform, which provides the capacity for future growth and ensure the security of customers’ data.

Butterfly Systems software is designed for use by persons undertaking various clinical roles or activities such as, set up nurses, scrub nurses, anaesthetic nurses, recovery and discharge and pre-op safety checklist.
