Do we need to have an iPad?

Yes, you need to have an iPad to install our Apps. A desktop version is available as part of our suites for hospital administration to see a snapshot of surgery performance, or for ease of inputting information. An Android version is coming soon.

Do we need to have an internet connection?

Yes, our software needs an internet connection to sync with the cloud server. They can also function without internet connection when needed, however for the database to be updated – a connection is necessary.

Can we print or email surgeons’ preference cards?

Yes, you can print or email surgeons’ preference cards directly from the iPad and desktop applications.

Can I integrate Butterfly Apps with our existing software?

Butterfly Apps integrate with a wide range of software packaging, we have placed a large emphasis on this in our development. Our account managers and support team can provide more information on the specifics of integration possible with your current system.

How do you protect patient privacy?

We understand the absolute necessity of privacy in a clinical environment and as such, patient information is not collected into our system. Your patient’s information stays in your system, stored in Amazon Web Services, a tier-one hosting provider, which monitors our servers and firewalls 24/7/365 at guarded facilities.

If my iPad is lost, what happens to all data I have entered?

All preference cards information entered in Butterfly Apps are securely saved in Amazon Web Services. You can download all your data at any time if you need to reinstall your data onto another iPad.
